Brentwood and Chelmsford – our area
Brentwood and Chelmsford Green Party operates within the local government boundaries of Brentwood Borough Council and Chelmsford City Council.
B&CGP also covers the area in full or in part of four Westminster Parliamentary constituencies:
- all of Chelmsford
- part of Brentwood & Ongar
- part of Maldon (which now includes the Galleywood ward as well as other Chelmsford wards after the review of parliamentary boundaries)
- part of North West Essex (formerly Saffron Walden, which includes several Chelmsford wards)
We stand parliamentary candidates in both Chelmsford and Brentwood & Ongar.
We work as closely as possible with our neighbouring local Green parties in Essex – in Maldon, South West Essex, Epping Forest – and the Essex Green Party.
We campaign on local, national and international issues and stand as many candidates as possible in both local government and general elections.
We are a constituent part of the Green Party of England and Wales, and also form part of the Eastern Regional Green Party.
