Forthcoming by-elections and local government re-organisation are among lots of items up for discussion at our March monthly meeting.
Our next get-together is on the evening of Wednesday March 26 starting at 7.30pm, at our regular venue of Hey Joe in Ropers Yard just off Crown Street in Brentwood – and also available hybrid via Zoom for those unable to join in person.
Everyone is welcome to come along and have their say on agenda items including the following:
- Local government reorganisation latest – and how we maintain B&CGP momentum in the elections void
- Essex CCC and Chelmsford CC by-elections announced for May – and candidates selection
- Community energy schemes
- Brentwood Borough Council proposal for a fortnightly bin collection
- Spring Budget discussion following Rachel Reeves’ announcement earlier that day
- AOB – anything else you want to raise!

Our next Green Drinks of 2025 will be on Wednesday April 23 – back at The Ale House in Chelmsford again. All will be very welcome as usual!
