We’ve confirmed our candidates to stand in the May 2 local elections. A total of nine Greens will be on the ballot across the 13 wards in the Brentwood Borough Council election.
 
We’re delighted to unveil our volunteers as Brentwood and Chelmsford Green Party candidates next month, in the below Council wards:
 
Warley – Olivia Ritson
Brentwood North – Paul Jeater
Shenfield – Julian Goode
Hutton South – John Hamilton
Hutton North – Mike Flood
Brentwood West – Marc Sardinha
Pilgrims Hatch – David Hale
Blackmore & Doddinghurst – Nick Kelly
Brizes, Stondon Massey & South Weald – Rebecca Enifer
 
If you live in any of the nine wards then make sure you make your vote count on polling day – that’s Thursday May 2.
 
Important local election info:
 
Voter ID: Don’t forget that voters in England now need to show photo ID to vote at polling stations in local elections. You can find out more from the Electoral Commission website.
 
Postal votes: Anyone who is registered to vote can apply to vote by post. The deadline to apply is Wednesday April 17. Apply online from here.
